As the season change there is aways a chance that the front porch could use some refreshing to give it fresh new look and feel. As you consider the changing seasons, Christmas comes to mind where the air is filled with glad tidings, and you will want your guest and even those who pass by to admire your newly refreshed look.
Add planters to spruce your decor
By using planters dress them up with the trend. The season of Christmas brings with it so many vibrant colours of reds and greens mixed in with whites could be just what this space needs to impress your guests.
Variety makes a great addition
Making use of what is in season is recommended especially if your home is situated in a cold climate use whatever is available and they can be blended with artificial plants which are sometimes very realistic.
Using various plants like poinsettia or the Christmas cactus are great to make use of their beautiful flowers at Christmas time. They can be complimented with the small Norfolk pine tree which comes in colours like bluish green and don’t forget to add the pine cones as well to your display. The Holly plant bring such elegance with its crimson berries it makes a great choice.
Adding ribbons in your choice of colours also adds a nice touch and don’t be afraid to add some mixed greens to compliment the other décor. Also blend in dogwood branches with contrasting flowers that will stand out.
Lights and candles are an added touch
Finish off your display by adding candles and birch poles to complete the look. Christmas ornaments and lights will certainly be a great addition. Always remember it doesn’t have to be expensive to create a masterpiece. It takes patience and eventually the creation you started will be complete and admired by many.
