Is Aloe Vera an Indoor Plant?

Is Aloe Vera an Indoor Plant?

Aloe vera can survive both indoors and outdoors. The aloe vera plant is a tropical plant and like many tropical plants it will thrive in that hot climate. As we live in  different zones, those conditions may not always be possible for everyone so, we may have to take the plant indoors. in this case put the plant in a full sun area of your home five to six hours of sunlight and it will do well.

Plants will thrive in the right environment

If the conditions are right the plant will survive outdoors and you will notice the aloe vera blooming so, it makes it easy to tell from that prospective that it is doing great.  Once this is achieved you will notice a difference between the indoor plant compared to those in an outdoor environment. The ones outdoor will also grow taller, and the leaves will grow larger or thicker compared with those kept in inside.

If you have been fortunate to live in a hot climate, outdoors would be the best choice otherwise you will just have to create a good blend of soil and maximize all the available sunlight that’s possible for your indoor plant.

There is a strong possibility that if you were to visit a Caribbean garden this plant would be one of the most popular ones found in the garden. It has been used for generations to treat various conditions and is frequently used for hair growth and for burns on skin. Attention should be given to the plant regarding pets as it is toxic to cats and dogs.

It is a great plant to have and works well in the garden blended in with other plants to contrast with. A great centre piece for a table, patio space and would work in a hanging basket or gazebo or any place to your liking as long as it is given the required amount of sunlight it will last for many years and will produce additional pups and eventually expect your aloe vera plant to multiply as it thrives.
