Why should I decorate with plants?

 Decorating with plants is one of the of the most inexpensive ways to add character to any space, bringing charm and personality to your home. Plants come in a wide variety of choices from tropical to evergreens, trees and shrubs and many more. So, depending on the look you would like to achieve the sky is the limit for plant choices.

Besides its breathtaking beauty plants provide oxygen throughout the day giving your home a fresh feel of the outdoors and remove carbon dioxide making them the ideal choice for any space especially indoors.

Most plants do not need special attention such as a pet that needs daily care but require basic needs such as sunlight, water and a fertilizer at times so this makes them the perfect choice for anyone having a busy lifestyle.

 The entry way into your home is always the area that creates a statement about you and just opening your front door lets your visitors know what type of home they are about to embark into. So, you want to create a place that results in a very good impression of being welcomed into your home. Usually that is the first place that may be admired by your guests. Create your own spa and with the right lighting sets the mood for a relaxing get away right at home. Adding some spa treatments to your bathtub or shower with your favourite drink, relax and dream away. Without realizing you are taking a mini vacation away from the cares of life and rejuvenating your life in that moment of total relaxation.

 Let us not forget our bedroom. While this area will always be very personal to anyone. The use of large plants is great if you have the space for it or if there are old furniture that needs replacement, and you prefer not to spend too much money just add plants. If the space is small highlight the area with plants on top of end tables, Television stands or accent pieces. Try adding colour orchids are great and do not require too much special care and the flower blooms are beautiful and can last between three to six months.

Have a plan for the design that you want and put it into action using colours of your choice and plants that appeal to you to create a beautiful exterior space to your home. An appealing exterior is suggestive that the interior will be just as beautiful.

The front porch or entry steps are also important. Large planters can be used with a variety of plants. Mix and match works well and allows for the space to have a fresh look. Create lasting memories to the space by using pots that complement the plants by adding a variety of colours, styles and textures gives the space an added touch.

 The balcony or deck could always use and upgrade. The easiest way to enhance this area is to use boxed planters, trailing plants, hanging baskets or adding lights incorporated with the plants creates an ambiance and allows for the space to be used at all times. This could be a vertical garden which allows the space to be optimized fully and leaves you with more room to plant additional flowers.
